I call Papua New Guinea home. I grew up in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. I am a coastal girl at heart with my roots in Milne Bay (1 hour flight from Port Moresby) and Kairuku which is approximately 3 hours from Port Moresby.
I also call Brisbane, Australia home and love this city! Brisbane is my adopted home city that has embraced me and loved me since 1988.
I lived in Toronto for 2.5 years and was loved for the few years I was there by the Canucks. I have a soft spot for my beautiful Toronno peeps.
I also fell in love with Port Vila in Vanuatu after only 7 days. So maybe I just love too hard and fall too fast? 😉
The older I get, the more places I go to, the more places I see and the more people I fall in love with…makes me think, we are all the same but different. And we are part of a global collective. Home is this amazing planet we call earth and the people we surround ourselves with.
I am a Brand and Marketing Consultant and currently work at a non-profit organisation raising awareness about domestic violence services in Queensland. I am also a writer and mental health advocate. I write about marketing, branding, workplace mental health and also take a look at building businesses through the lens of a yoga teacher! And…I am a yoga teacher! #joblove Finally at a point where I am working for a non-profit cause I truly believe in and sharing this beautiful practice of yoga with anyone who lands in my class.
As we take our community forward together and build vibrant hubs and leverage awesome new technology, we also need to take the wider community together and create opportunities for all.
