What are you doing this weekend to nourish your heart, mind, movement and spirit? 💗
There are a few different ideas about wellbeing from a wholistic standpoint and one of those is that there are 7 pillars of wellness:
6. environmental, and
Mental relates to your state of mind. On a scale or 1 – 10, where are you with 10 being fairly robust and healthy and well. 1 being not great at all.
Physical – how is your physical health?
Social – do you feel happy with your social life and are you connected and receive and give the love and friendship and affection you so richly deserve.
Financial – how’s your money situation going? What’s your attitude to money?
Spiritually – do you feel nourished and held and guided?
How’s your environment and surroundings and your relationship/connection?
Vocational relates to your work and what you do. Do you work to live or live to work? Are you surviving or thriving?
Grand Rapids Community College breaks down the different pillars. Or another resource is Rejuv LTD, have a read through and let me know what you think.
How are you going in each of these areas?
I aim to regularly audit these areas in my life. Some parts are better than others, and I have to work a bit harder in other areas to bring these different parts of me into balance.
At different points in your life, you will no doubt focus on certain areas more than others.
I mainly share info about yoga and meditation with the intention to offer support to your mental (meditation) and physical side (movement/mobility yoga offers)…however, I truly feel that if you take care of your spirit, movement and mental state side, that has the potential to provide a ripple effect and flow out to the other pillars of wellness.
The invitation is there for you to regularly audit this different parts of you to highlight how you are travelling and also ask yourself how you can start to take steps towards supporting yourself to bring these different facets into balance.
YOU are planting seeds, thoughts and ideas with your meditation…and watering these seeds in your daily life with your actions, to allow you to b.l.o.o.m like a flower 🌼 🌸…maybe overnight and maybe not overnight (everyone is different), but in time….slowly, slowly.
With that in mind, I ask you again, what are you doing this weekend to nourish your mind, movement and spirit? 💗💗💗
Be good to yourself.
