I am into day 3 of 4 days of yoga teacher training! I love training with Miriam Van Doorn from Mukti Yoga Centre. Miriam was my teacher for my 200 hours training in 2018 and 150 post grad training in 2018. So, it feels special to be back in the room with Miriam and learning as much as I can! Doing my best to retain as much as possible!
We have been learning about the base chakra, sacral chakra, manipura, anahata and vishudda chakra. Tomorrow we will go through the 3rd eye and crown chakra.

The course has been really great to delve further into chakra, understand the energy cycles and key poses to activate the chakra points. It has also been such a gift to meet other yoga teachers and another person who loves chakras too! So epic to find a like-minded community. Plus, can’t complain in such beautiful locations!
Today we sat outside under the most gorgeous fig tree for our meditation, grounding and QiGong. QiGong is amazing and I could feel the energy.
Sooo the key takeaway has been around ENERGY. Here are some prompts for you:

- What gives you life?
- Who and what drains you?
- What steps can you take to build a more supportive space?
- How can you nourish yourself?
- Where is your energy going?
- What changes can you incorporate to preserve your precious energy?
I love these questions and as always, the training has come through at the right time. I appreciate the course so much.
