Oh what a gorgeous movie. Sure, the big names are in this movie (think Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy) and we all know that can takeaway from the storyline as we can sometimes typecast big name actors into previous characters. That said, Judi, Maggie and Bill showed why they have been in the industry for so long.
The story focuses on 6 main characters in U.K that are at various crossroads and stumble across a retirement hotel in India. Each packs up their suitcases and make the long journey across to India to find the hotel is not as advertised. To say the least.
We track each person’s journey in India as they share their experience in rich, dynamic, bright, confronting, bold, overwhelming and beautiful India.
